Just received and in the middle of two other published reviews. The screen is spectacular. You *can* tell what webpage a person is on by the large banner, but the details are more than hidden. When you're sitting next to a computer (like on an airplane), you can't see the text in an email or the numbers in a spreadsheet. The tolerances on the MacBook are very tight, so 3M had to create a new, thinner privacy filter. It works - the laptop still closes, although you can feel the keys hitting the lid. We have to agree with other reviewers. I think it does the job on point. Unfortunately, with the screen at full brightness (or more than 50% brightness), the person sitting next to you will most likely be able to see your screen. I'm not sure if 60 degrees is accurate. Luckily where I am every day there is a seat between me and the next person so they have a steeper viewing angle (75-80 degrees).
