good for practice not for serious work

there were a lot of areas in this cord that were frayed and looked like the cord had been spliced together; which I can understand a few places but there were way too many on this spool. there's also quite a few places where there were red fibers and blue fibers intertwined in the cord. luckily I was using this for a practice run but I don't think I would use this brand for a serious product.

Pros
  • A cost-effective option for people on a budget
Cons
  • Can break under too much strain

Hooked on macrame for my opinion

First macrame cord purchase, seems like a good size to learn on looks great and the color very natural. My boyfriend mentioned it has a smell at first but I can’t tell

Pros
  • Hypoallergenic material, perfect for people with sensitive skin
Cons
  • May not be able to accommodate certain pot sizes

It’s a shedding mess but fairly priced.

It’s a decent amount of cord for the price but it sheds thousands of little fibers while handling. I got this initially for a project I was going to do but abandoned the project because this cord is not that appealing in person and it was shedding every where. sorta disappointed but it’s a fair price. Becomes frizzy very easily.

Pros
  • The thickness of the cord makes it ideal for more advanced knotting techniques
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other cord options

DIYes please best in my review

The cord was soft and the color was great. However, the thread ends frayed and unraveled easily. I was able to make a DIY project using this and still had enough left over for a future project. MacraMAYBE will purchase it again (are puns still a thing?)

Pros
  • Perfect to braid up a plant hanger!
Cons
  • Can be abrasive to the touch

Make sure you are ordering right cord.

I really wanted a lighter gray, but I think I found out they have two different grays. Thank you.I would like to know when my Premium free ends? Thank you

Pros
  • Made from 100% natural cotton rope
Cons
  • Can be prone to snags and tears

Great cord best in my review

I bought this cord for my granddaughter and I to use to make macramé. It's soft, easy on the hands and good to work with. It's 3 strand twisted which I like but it does unravel if you have to undo your knots a lot, taping the ends when you work with it helps. I would buy this cord again.

Pros
  • Breathable material, perfect for plant hangers
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with certain types of hooks

Good for beginners in my review

I bought this as a beginner in macrame and have gotten used to working with the texture and thickness of this material. I did find that as I was going through the product, the thickness of the rope was not really consistent. There were also tiny specks of color on the cord randomly. I did find that the cord was sturdy and did not unravel quickly because I’ve made a lot of mistakes and have had to undo my work. The amount of product your get for the price is pretty good! You can make lots of…

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • Can become stiff over time

Highly recommend. in my review

Cord is great to work with. It is soft and easy on my hands when I am working with it. My macramé knots look nice and stay tight with this cord. This cord is natural so you can dye it.

Pros
  • Comes in a large roll of 220 yards, providing ample material for many projects
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain styles of décor

Used this for my first macrame ever

I personally loved this cord! I wanted to make a macrame wall hanging for my friend to decorate her baby's nursery and it turned out pretty decent for my first project. I am new to this hobby so veterans might think there is something better out there. However. it works great for my skill level and the things I'm able to make.It is sturdy and ties really clean, tight knots. I did find some random blemishes on the cord or weird spots that were frayed. That might be a normal thing but I've never…

Pros
  • Can be used for a variety of fiber arts projects
Cons
  • Can be too shiny for some people's tastes

You can Knot go wrong!

Just about the perfect size cord for the projects I have planned. It is also easy to tie and retie. the knots do come undone easily if you pull too tight. I will be buying this product again and can recommend this to anyone new to Macramé.

Pros
  • The soft, natural texture makes it easy to work with and comfortable to wear
Cons
  • May not be strong enough for certain types of crafts

Nice for bucket purse

I use this yarn for a bucket and backpack purse and it works very nicely with the style. Since I use about 1/4 of a different yarn for the bottom (2-tone), each skein I make about 2 purses.

Pros
  • Craft Supplies
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in wet conditions
