The ties don't bite too much so you have to double knot them to keep the bags closed but the ropes are more than long enough to do that do. So. High quality burlap finish, no scratches or dirt. Works great on vinyl.

Nice bags, good size. I was able to customize this for my friends bachelorette party. It was difficult because I had to put parchment paper inside to press them down, otherwise the heat would cause them to close. We filled them with Advil, makeup remover wipes, hair ties, plasters and lollipops. They turned out very cute!
