As a hesitant buyer in the market for pet supplies, I am truly amazed by this compact fluorescent lighting system .it provides excellent light output for my reptiles creating a natural environment in their terrarium. The energy efficiency of these bulbs is impressive, reducing my electricity costs. Based on my observations, my reptiles seem to be more active and display vibrant colors under this lighting. I have two in an aviary I built for our panther chameleon. I change every year but rotate every six months so I have a fresh onion on a regular basis. When branch/rope climbing, I can set the required height. He liked to climb into the lampshade whenever he could, so we added some wire to prevent that.
