Too short pigtails - starter

Looks good just wish the pigtails were a little longer. It's easy enough to splice a longer wire, but doing so only creates more connection points and is time consuming. Long braids would be ideal.

The wire looks like CCA

These relays are pretty good. Mounting tab, seal and wire gauge look good. The description says the wire is tinned copper, but a few inches from the tip it's silver. I'm pretty sure it's actually CCA and not copper wire. Regardless, I have a few more in case there are any problems. I use them to power the fuel pump circuit using the original power wire as the trigger. All my wiring is 12 gauge copper so it should be fine.

Poor build quality

The first wire from the first relay I tried to strip to connect it (the wires in the kit I received were connected to the Ends not pre-tinned, even with insulation cut off to the full length) pulled out of the base box. After that I used a v-cutter instead of regular wire strippers on the connections, and the other wires passed a light test without pulling them out, so that's probably the only manufacturing flaw I accidentally spotted right away. Pull the plug out of the socket and crimp it…
