802.11n Wireless Router

This router uses the latest technology. It's half the size of a FIOS router. The device works great for a wired Ethernet connection. Wireless connection I needed technical support. You accompanied me step by step. 10 minutes on the phone and everything is fine.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • Reliability

Zoom 4402 not worth it

I bought one and returned it the next day after receiving it. The wireless part of this router is very weak. With a laptop placed next to this router, the signal strength reported by the laptop was around 50% at best. When the laptop was moved just a few feet further, the laptop picked up no signal from it at all. It's worth the money for use as a WIRED router, but you'd better look for other brands for a wireless connection. .

Pros
  • GOLS is certified
Cons
  • Weak set

Good, inexpensive 802.11n router

I set up the same 4402 as a repeater (WDS). It works great with my X6 router. I looked through the Zoom FAQ and got a detailed guide on setting up a WDS (repeater). This is a direct instruction. No time for me to do it. I am building a device, building one with X6 and building two with 4402 (WDS) (repeater). That's over 50 feet away. It works great. Factory reset your device and try again. If that doesn't work, you may have a defective unit and need to send it back for an RMA. Below is a link…

Works perfectly!

Works great with all my devices. I have a network of multiple computers and printers controlling this unit powered by an older wireless controller with ethernet cables for fast download speeds and I have tablets and control cable TV over WI-FI with this wireless router and Air. - Network switch. I installed this plug and play device after my modem and connected an ethernet cable to my network, started all three components in order and it works great!

Pros
  • Nice to use

Buyers Attention: Networking Products

I am writing this review because I have found many other Revain customer reviews to be very helpful in the past. I would not recommend this product to anyone unfamiliar with setting up Wi-Fi networks. After working with Zoom tech support for about a week, I finally connected the 4402 to my existing Zoom X6 and Ap+2 WiFi system as a repeater for a few hours. Then I discovered that the 4402 had a very limited range of less than six meters, making it useless for extending my Wi-Fi network. The…
