The cactus has grown a lot and is actually flowering. I NEVER had a cactus flower before. I bought 2 of these back in 2017 and 4 years later still work great with maybe 2 small lights out. I came back and seen people making statements you cant grow pot with it and that's a lie. With 2 lights I could grow 3 autoflower plants with great yield. So if you dont have much money and want to grow some recreational bud then start here.

My orange trees are blooming under these lights, so I'm happy with it. I have to bring them indoors when it gets cold, for the season and this light appears to agree with them enough to keep them going until its warm enough to put them back outside. UPDATE 4/25/2018 All of my citrus trees have made it through the winter-and have fruit on them. I have geraniums that have bloomed all winter. I will be ordering more of these to start seedling plants for my garden.

This is my first grow light and I really like it a lot. The only thing I wish is that it had screw holes or some kind of bracket for mounting this to something solid. This grow light is a great small scale solution, I majored in Horticulture, and work as a Tree Doctor, so I am up on these sort of things. My only warning is that to the the eye this light turns foliage purple. You may be saying so what. Well you can not spot signs of many disease and insect warnings like Chlorosis, Peronospora, (which is common in indoor growing), and even spider mites. The entire plant is discolored. Good lighting, but the hanging technique needs some work. It isn't so much about the light, but would be good if they somehow made it less likely that the light would spin/rotate when hanging from the wire hooks they furnish. Since it is a square light, you likely want it aligned a certain way above your plants. However I had to fiddle a bit to get it to hang perfectly horizontal, and also to keep it aligned with the square tray of seedlings/plants below. Again technically not the lighting…

This is a nice light for the price. It is quite light in weight and it is brighter than I thought it would be (don't look right into it!). The only thing I didn't like was that the cord was a little short, but I just supplemented with an extension cord so it wasn't a deal breaker. The light stays cool which is good for peace of mind. I put a variety of plants under it and they all seemed quite responsive to it. For the price, I am happy with the quality and performance.

I bought two of these to try to grow some hydroponic lettuce and greens indoors over the winter. The are good, bright lights. The mounting hardware that it comes with, a wire that attaches on each side of the light and has a hook, didnt really work for my set up. I used some small eye hooks that i screwed into the cardboard backing and ran a pice of wire through them so i could more easily adjust the height above the plants.
