Nice sock - but not as thick as expected. - update

I get cold feet and decided to switch from the cotton crew socks to wool socks for the winter season. I've seen thick wool socks in the stores and based on the description decided to give these a try. I found these socks to be similar thickness to the cotton crew socks i've been buying from my local stores. I've since gone to stores to allow me to actually 'touch' the sock and confirm thickness and feel are as expected. These are a basic crew sock made of wool - and only keep my toes marginally

Minimal label which I like and on recycled paper.The socks wear well, and wash well. I have a size 8 foot and they wear fine. They stretch a bit too much for my liking though when walking stocking footed in my home. This creates a larger heel if you need to pull them up.I try to resist pulling these socks up, as I fear they won't 'snap back' eventually after washing and drying.I generally air dry socks, but have found to get them to go back to original size, low heat is needed.These are warm…

I think they’re going to be great

Some reviewers say there’s no wool in them. Although I just received them, they feel like there’s wool. And there’s cotton ( my favorite ingredient). Fun patterns & the real plus, not too large. I wear a 61/2 shoe size & they’re perfect. Would give 5 stars but have not worn long enough to see; if anything like gold toes, winners.

"5 pairs wool socks".I like the colors, very soft, but does not keep my feet warm. Very stretchy.should have read all the reviews that it's not 100%

Warm enough for my opinion

Bought these to take during a winter camping day and it kept my toes nice and warm. I was able to wear extra pair of socks on top but comfy.

perfect for Birkenstocks

This is my second time purchasing these socks. They're soft, warm (enough for L.A.), and wash/dry well. The ankles don't cut off your circulation or leave markings. They don't bind to your feet like the super stretchy poly ones. They have a slightly loose slouchy look that is perfect for Birkenstock sandals. Yet they're not overly thick and fit inside my other shoes well. The green ones are not as dark as the pics show, more of a grey with a green tint.

LOVE THESE SOCKS! on my review.

I absolutely love these socks that I bought 3 more sets of them! They are what I expected in a wool blended sock. They colors are absolutely beautiful! The value was prefect! The socks were very comfortable as I am still wearing them to my barn and to exercise my horses every day. I have absolutely NO complaints about these socks, they are wonderful and I am considering getting a few more sets!

Warm and soft, but smell like mildew right out of the package!

Had to wash them a few times in scented vinegar solution to get the mildewy smell out before wearing them. However, that was only partially effective. Wouldn’t recommend these socks.

Comfortable!: my feedback

These socks are very comfortable. I have a hard time finding socks that feet my wide feet. (I also have a bunion on my right foot). I am 65 years old and comfortable socks are so important to my feet.

Runs a bit small: my feedback

My feet are American size 9. I think they ran a bit small. I can still use them but I mostly use them when wearing boots. I had originally purchased them thinking they would be nice cozy socks for hanging out at home.

Definitely wool socks

Nice wool socks that seem well made and are attractive. They are not too tight so they don't make marks on your ankles or legs which is a big plus. I do think they're a little too thin. I keep my house and my bedroom on the cooler side. I'm always hot but with cold feet - hence the wool socks. These are not quite enough to keep my feet warm in bed.
