Have Not Used It Yet

I bought this to use for making slim jim antennas out of ladder line coax. This coax will be used to make the antenna dual band, since I am new to making these antennas, I have no clue how to explain it, but I hope it works!

Pros
  • It's RG316 coax, at a decent price.
Cons
  • The cable packaging may not be reusable or environmentally friendly, contributing to waste and pollution

This is the stuff. on my review.

Perfect for pro and amateur labs. I use with my Tek 2467B scope, signal generator, frequency counter, and other test equipment. Nice and pliable, too.

Pros
  • CAN'T LIVE WITH-OUT IT.
Cons
  • The cable may not be UV-resistant or weatherproof, limiting outdoor usage or exposure to sunlight over long periods of time

Good stuff - my new review

Good quality and works. I bought this to use with some DIY 915 antenna I was making. No issues. However mines came bundled up in a bag and not on a spool like shown in the pic. Might want to keep that in mind if your expecting a spool.

Pros
  • Good price at time of purchase.
Cons
  • What I received is a roll of cable, not a full spool, as pictured. The photo for this item is deceptive.

Handles 500 watts: my feedback

This is able to handle up to 500 watts TX, RF. The cable is well made and easy to pass through areas that are tight or you just don't want a big hole to run your coaxial through. It is also great for making a balun. Not bulky like RG-59, 8X with PL-259 already installed. Install a SMA connection for a small passthrough hole and use an adaptor to your PL-259. Low loss too!

Pros
  • Excellent Quality
Cons
  • The connector quality may not be up to par with more expensive options, leading to intermittent signal loss or connection issues

Fine cable good for me

It's RG316. I used it to build antenna cables by crimping on some SMA connectors. It's thin and flexible. The core is stranded, not solid.RG316 is expensive for this type of cable and you might be able to get away with the much cheaper RG174 instead, depending on what you need it for.

Pros
  • As advertised
Cons
  • The cable is relatively thin and can be easily damaged if not handled carefully

Looks good, no way to test the specs.

Seems like good quality. Made in China if that matters to you. I’m going to use for common mode chokes and baluns. Will add feedback later if it’s great or horrible.

Pros
  • Awesome coax
Cons
  • RG316 cable may not be suitable for high powered RF applications

High quality best in my review

I needed some very thin, shielded coax cables and these worked great. They soldered easily and will work great in this application.

Pros
  • bought for some rf work at work, works fine..
Cons
  • This cable may not be compatible with all RF devices and antennas due to its specific characteristics and impedance
