Lightweight, flexible and kink free unreinforced polyvinyl tubing. The smooth inner surface allows for easy flow and easy cleaning. BPA Free and Non-Toxic. 3/8-Inch ID x 1/2-Inch OD, 50-FT pre-cut PVC flexible plastic tubing. High quality, flexible PVC compound in compliance with FDA and 3A Sanitary Standards. USDA approved for meat and poultry plants. Uses include: Food and beverage handling, processing and dispensing lines, water mains and water feeds; beer brewing, wine making, as airline hose for aquariums, water gardens and ponds, pumping and more. All branches of the food industry, medical and laboratories where see-through flow of gas or liquids are essential. Not what they advertise

I doubt it's food safe - smells strong. Also, the ID is more like 6.5/16 - 7/16 than 3/8. Due to the thinner wall, it twists and clogs easily. Initiated return.

Stainless Steel Hose Retainer

Repairs my "lifetime" stainless steel hose that cracked and leaked for a year. It's 50 feet, so that's enough for me to fix two 25 foot hoses. The sleeves got pretty spoiled during the repair, so it's a one-time thing.

It is normal good for hydraulics, pneumatics and plumbing

In my case the packaging was good, the hoses are transparent and there are a lot of them. I use this for tubing to and from my wort chiller, and while the inside diameter doesn't match any of the other 3/8" tubing I have, or the same size barbs, it's fine for this application. I used a double layer of duct tape on the barn and clamped it with a worm gear to make it waterproof. Aside from my use, this pipe has a strong chemical/plastic smell and I would not use it anywhere it might touch my…
