I recently received a 10 foot long pre-lit tree that only splits into 2 parts. I originally thought I would use both bags for each section of the tree. To my surprise, I easily fit in both sections and the stand, plus room for more! Of course, the quality of the flash is pretty crappy. I was very careful when closing my bag. I had some slack to work with as my tree is not very complete. I saw how it might break trying to stretch it.

Decent bags for the money but very narrow even for a 9ft tree breaking down the middle. If you have a very full tree, you can use a set of round bags instead. I was able to get all 4 sections of my 9 foot tall, 5.5 foot diameter tree up, but not without good compression and effort. Very happy with it. Last December I stored our tree in XXL vacuum bags but it took three different ones and every time I went to the garage and saw them thrown away I went insane. I thought only a heavier, better made tree (the Front Gate pre-lit tree) would fit in two bags (the bottom one in a larger bag, the top one in a smaller one).
