2018 Dodge Journey best in Gas Cap

Fits this model perfectly and stopped my engine emissions test code. It's hard to believe the original has gone bad in 3 years, but here I am.

didn't fix the problem

The only reason I'm giving this one star is because it didn't solve my problem. The CEL was still on, indicating a new gas cap needed to be installed. I bought another one and it solved the problem

Not good with lid

I bought this to replace the original lid which my wife lost or never put back on? Quite easy. Nothing fantastic. This is a gas cap but about 2 days after installation. The code is P0440 and my display says 'Throttle Lock'. My friend cleared the codes for him and after 2 days - back. Returned - ordered OEM.

Plastic Insert - Gas Cap

I wanted to take it out and install it right out of the box. Fits perfectly. The last Universal had a metal part to insert. It was rusting so it wasn't holding air, so the check engine light stayed on. The engine light went out and has stayed away since this new one was fitted. The best price is cheaper than in car dealerships.
