We just got the quilt ladder. It was in great condition from shipment. When putting it together use a Phillips screwdriver, a flashlight. Lay everything out put it on a card table (easier on your back). Put it together sliding dowels into the holes without using screws yet. Now use flashlight line up holes and put all screws in loosely on both sides of ladder.This allows some twisting the steps to get all screws started.Now tighten all the screws up so there is no gap between the steps and…

This was not what I expected for the price. It was difficult to assemble because several of the receivers for the screws were not lined up. It was not finished well, had several splinters, one of which ended up in my finger. It had a very odd odor. I know what varnish and stain smells like and that was not the odor on the piece. It is small and will not hold a very heavy quilt. Sorry I spent the money!

Dont get me wrong, I like it and it’s functional, but it’s cheaply made. The materials are super poor quality and I was annoyed at the price. If it was half the price, I would have been fine with it. It would have been a you get what you paid for situation. I ended up keeping it because I didn’t hate it. Wasn’t worth look for another one.

The ladder was somewhat easy to assemble. Not all of the dowels and holes lined up perfectly but we did get it lined up with some force. My main complaint is that it has a very strong odor of fake pine. I can see a green staining in the from where the fake pine scent comes from. I let it air outside for 24 hours and that seems to have taken care of it. But I got very nauseous putting it together.

This is a good example of getting what you paid for. It’s not that bad of a product, but it’s kind of cheap. There’s no finish on the wood and it feels rough, as though it might snag your knits. If you have nice woodwork in your home, this will stand out like a sore thumb. I’m going to keep it until I can get one ordered from the Amish furniture people, then donate it somewhere. Nice ladder, sturdy, made with slanted ends so it rests well on the floor and on the wall. I love it - highly recommend it! Only bad thing for me is because it is wood, the blankets are hard to slide over the rungs, but it is to be expected because it is wood after all!

Update: The seller sent a new ladder as a replacement without me asking for it. They also sent a card apologizing for the problem. It was completely unexpected and refreshing to get that kind of service. The replacement ladder is just as nice and sturdy and doesn’t smell like the first one. The ladder had an unpleasant odor when I took it out of the box, I left it air off out side on my balcony for four days. I don’t feel the finish is very good, there are a number of ruff spots and if you sand them down the color will change. I probably won’t have purchased it if I had seen it in a store.

There were several splits in the wood, and I would have returned, but I didn’t want to have to put it back in the box after unwrapping and laying out all of the pieces. The wood is very soft so when you’re screwing in the screws, little slivers of wood break off and drop into the screw hole and/ or floor. The splits and damaged pieces didn’t prevent the product from being assembled, and once completed, it looked nice and held the blankets okay, which was the purpose of my purchase.

I ordered gray, and got the white dipped one. The gray one has thicker rails, that I liked, and the white dipped one is thin and not at all what I wanted. The stained part on the top stained my hands when I took it out of the package so I'm sure it will stain any blanket I put on it as well. The only good thing is that it was easy to assemble. What's the point of offering colors if you aren't going to send the correct one? Not worth the price!

A little disappointed. There are a lot of splits and chips in the wood which I wasn’t expecting for how much it cost. Also the white part has yellowish stains on it so I’ll need to touch that up. Larger than I thought, definitely holds a lot. Assembly wasn’t very difficult at all. Loving this little ladder for all of my blankets. The only complaint that I have is it comes with so much styrofoam and it was broken up so it got all over and was a pain to clean up. Other than that the ladder is so cute I've already gotten so many compliments.

The quality is really nice and seems sturdy. The only negative comment I have is that the stain can rub off on your blankets or wall. Not sure what can be done about that.

The blanket ladder is beautiful. A great addition to the room. I assembled it by myself, and it took me a couple of hours. I suggest having a second person to help hold the parts in place while the other tight the screws.

They sent me the wrong color. I ordered the 2 tone but got the rustic brown instead that’s why I deducted a star but the ladder was easy to assemble and sturdy and I ended up keeping it because I didn’t want the hassle of returning. It fits well in my living room and the color is acceptable.

It is built well, but really only big enough for one quilt. That's my review. I needed to hang three on it and it was not big enough for that.

Item had been previously opened and assembled, as evidenced from the condition of the box and stripped screws. Width was also wider than stated in specs.

It does what it’s suppose to do, but the wood is scrap quality. The wood was not finished, it had squared corners with jagged edges and splinters. The color is cheap sprayed on black paint.
