I bought these for my kids to learn how to make mats with snap hooks. I made them as a kid and was very happy to give them to them for Christmas. I bought some nice patterns for her and so far so good. These hooks held up well to the abuse of my 5, 6 and 7 year olds ;) And they were very expensive. When it comes to a good latch hook tool at a good price you won't find anything better. The handle is smooth and well rounded and there are no places on the tool for the twine to snag. The knotting function works great as intended and I can tie through many hundreds of strands of yarn in one set of latch hooks in one sitting.
