They made my whole house smell like it was under a gas attack. Moths somehow didn't deter. I threw them away because the smell wouldn't go away from my clothes when I took them out of the closet.

They were made for a barn. They are NOT for closets although they do have hangers. What gives ? It may not be safe for your health, but I got you out of the house as soon as possible. Sticky fly strips will do.

The size of these hangars is amazing because they last longer than the mothballs I buy from local stores. Hangars are durable and easy to use. My husband leaves the closet door open all the time so I need that to keep the moths at bay. Good buy for three.

I don't know what Lavender smells like in the Moth Bar universe. But with us, its lavender scent is very reminiscent of a urinal. If you love the smell of truck stop toilets, you will love the smell of this product. If you don't, you'll do what I did and throw it away. I never got a chance to know if they do what they say they do as the scent was so overwhelming it only lasted a few hours.

I might have misunderstood - I thought since it's called lavender it would smell milder than old-fashioned mothballs. This smell is so strong that we will not use it. That. I think most people writing here that the smell is too strong or that the usual smell of mothballs is better are far from the truth are. The smell of these things is as strong as if you bought ordinary paper bags. The smell will not be like the smell of lavender in your garden, it will be close, but don't think that it will be exactly the same scent, seriously. they don't stink, they're pretty strong, but that's the whole point.
