too shallow: my feedback

I opened this and could tell immediately it was too shallow. They stated the pan was 8x2 bit it was only 1inch deep not 2. It's going back!

  • Delivery was fast and product was as expected.
Cons
  • The removable bottom of the pans is not securely fixed, causing leaks and spills during baking

Exactly what I needed

I recently moved and forgot that I had lent my tart pans to a neighbor. These arrived quick and worked perfectly fine. Their composition is a little dense than the old school pans I'm use to, so their is some adjustment — but the work great!

Item Returned best in my review

Only 1 star because I opened the box, checked out the pan & hit the return button. It looked sturdy & well made BUT it was too shallow to use for quiche - the only reason I was ordering it.

  • I made a beautiful tart and it came out of the pan perfectly

  • The small size of the pans limits the creativity and variety of baked goods that can be produced

How easy to use - my new review

Love how the Rectangle Mini Tart Pans work. Super easy to work with and they wash up great. Used pre-made pie crust, cut each crust into 4 parts and was able to make 8 total tarts. Used 1 can of apple filling for this batch. I highly recommend them.

Seal well, easy to clean and remove.

I was impressed by how solid the material, and so how well the bottoms fit. They clean easily and I think they'll last well.They are small though! Be prepared!

Perfect Tart Pan best in my review

This tart pan helps make holiday cooking a breeze. It was really easy to prep for baking, easy to remove the bottom from the sides after baking, and super easy to clean! The scalloped sides create a really pretty aesthetic to baking and I love the larger size. Definitely a staple of my baking supplies. (Pictured: Bourbon-Pineapple Pound Tart made using this pan)

Tart pan crust lifts out easily once baked. Makes a beautiful looking tart.

I used the tart pan to bake fruit tarts. It was easy to place the crust in the pan and once baked the pan lifted out very easily. The pan cleaned up very easily, with no sticking.

An improvement over fixed-bottom pans

We got these to replace our fixed - bottom pie pans. The bottom stays in place during use and being able to remove the outer rim makes slicing much easier and practically hassle free. Will update the review if any problems arise in the long run but, so far, we're perfectly happy with our purchase.
