Hub required for set up: A compatible ZigBee hub is required to control this recessed light. Pair your smart led to a compatible ZigBee hub such as SmartThings, Wink, or Amazon Echo Plus. Individual light atmosphere: Enjoy adjustable white color temperature ranging from soft white to daylight (2700K to 6500K) and dimming capabilities right from your smartphone. Adjustable white color temperature allows you to see better when working in the kitchen or create the perfect romantic dinner lighting. Recessed Lighting Kit: Fits most standard 5" or 6" recessed cans. Includes integrated LED smart light, screw in base, white plastic trim, and spring clips for easy installation. Dimmable through compatible app, not for use with conventional in-wall dimmer switches. Smart Home Lighting: Integrate voice control by pairing an Amazon Echo or Google Home smart speaker to your compatible ZigBee hub. Ideal for track lighting

Works great. It worked right away with my Samsung SmartThings Hub and only took 10 minutes to install and set up. Alexa is on. Love it.

Doesn't fit 6 " cans

My can lights are not retro cases but new designs. When these fixtures are installed they do not fit snugly against the ceiling resulting in a gap. I can don't recommend these.Pairing is fine but they often lose connection and when they do you'll know when you turn them on and they'll blink.

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS? .Forget it. AVOID!

The WiFi signal is absolutely terrible. I can't even begin to estimate how much time it took me to climb a sofa or a ladder to get through the stupid reunion process. Luckily this wasn't the main light source in our family room as it has been a constant struggle to reconnect to wifi for the past 2-3 years. Eventually he relented and bought/installed the FEIT brand for only $16 each. So far everything is fine and even colorful, in contrast to the forest waste. AVOID!

. installed these lights in my living room - love the lighting and design

I have just installed these lights in my living room - love the lighting and design. The only problem I have is that when I turn on the switch, the lights flash 3 times before turning on. They can then be controlled via the app, but the flickering when switching on via the main switch is very annoying. Anyone else have a similar problem? is there anything i can do to avoid the flickering?

Affordable price, neatly packaged, works great.

This item works well with my home automation. It is very responsive to commands and the color temperature is reasonable. The price was very reasonable. The seller's delivery was very fast and the product was perfectly packaged. I understand that this item is no longer available and I am very happy to have found it at such a great price. Our setup includes a combination of Zigbee and Z-Wave devices controlled by SmartThings and Alexa integration.

Seems to be as good as Halo so far. Works well with Echo Plus and mesh network

Bought to try the new Echo Plus hub. I've bought a few other Halo brand 'custom' LED downlights to retrofit with 20 year old incandescent bulbs and so far they seem to be just as good as the HALO and a few bucks cheaper. Dims the brightness and changes the color temperature with Alexa voice commands in addition to turning on/off. Read the fine print as HALO is rated at 50,000 hours and can only be rated at 25,000 hours. It sits at the edge of a mesh network of various signed devices that…

Better spend money on Hue lights

I bought two lights to replace the porch lights so every time the camera picks up movement the light comes on. I replaced them with Hue lights. Pros: Both work when connected to Alexa. Cons: The two lights are out of sync when turning on and off. One light turns on/off instantly and the other slowly turns on/off like a dimmer. Two minor issues prevent them from being perfect!

As I said, I think there are only two real downsides to these recessed lights: 1. They don't retain the last setting like other branded lights offer after a power switch. So if you want a night light setting or scene, be prepared to close your eyes as they return to their default brightness and then dim.2. When off, the built-in lights still have a faint glow that can be seen in the dark. When I look at the Zigbee traffic, it shows it's off for status and 0% for brightness, so it's probably a…
