Excellent SKIL blade pack with 3 blades

Great blades all three. These were the exact saw blades to fit my SKIL 3386-01 2.5 amp 9" band saw. They were in excellent condition. One 1/8" fine spiral blade, one 1/4" general purpose blade and one 3/8" " High performance blade.

Pros
  • Industry best
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Do not buy! for band saws

Don't do it! I repeat, DO NOT BUY THESE BLADES! I work with basswood, a very soft wood, and before I start carving I cut off pieces of wood with a band saw. These blades ripped through the wood and didn't cut straight or even go through the wood. waste of money. Why am I rating so late? I have a stash of band saws and just opened this pack.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate

Matching, universal set.

Decent selection of tooth sizes/types. Fits a Ryobi bandsaw with the necessary adjustments and adjustments to be expected with any bandsaw change. They can be difficult to roll back up, so plan to store them unfolded. I only used the blade for about 12 hours cutting soft pine logs so I won't comment on durability.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Exchange available

Five stars for the best power tool parts and accessories

Good price for 3 saw blades and they fit my Delta Shopmaster band saw perfectly. Just make sure your saw is set up correctly and you won't have any problems. I've cut soft and hard woods with these blades and so far they've performed great without dulling or breaking. Always use the thickest blade you can use for cutting (in terms of curves) so you have a straighter, better cut.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Decent quality at a good price.

Good value for money. I needed extra band saw blades and they fitted perfectly. Not the best quality in the world but they appear to be true to size and should fit crafters well. Three sizes allow me to better use the right blade for the job. When I need something that cuts better, I know I need to spend money on a special blade for what I'm doing. So for 20€ I'm satisfied. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Legacy model

Not very suitable for band saws

I received these saw blades from Revain and they were delivered very quickly. I was thrilled to get the new blades to be able to cut root hardwood and get my hobby work done a little faster when my old blade was starting to dull a bit. Unfortunately, these blades don't cut as well as the worn blade I replaced that came with my band saw. That's a pity. Personally, I would save the money and go for a higher quality blade. I really expected more from these.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Absolute rubbish. on band saws

I think you get what you pay for. No problem with standard blades (WEN---so we're not talking high quality), but these skill blades are inaccurate, have a thicker kerf for some reason, and take forever to cut through material if you don't want to risk it. The blade snapped under force, which has happened to both I tried. In the end I just threw the other one away. Cheap stuff, mine had a few "kinks" on the blade when opening it. Skip this product and save yourself a finger or two.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

Sharpness is excellent - surgical cuts are easy.

At first I didn't want to use Skil blades on my saw but now I enjoy using them. I don't feel it when working with hardwoods. That being said - I know they will be working with softwoods and possibly metal - mainly aluminum. But cutting hardwood is precise, the blade is sharp and holds up well after a few yards of cutting. getting fast and accurate entry even at very oblique angles and that's a very good selling point for me - but you have to experience it to believe me I think. Good buy - they…

Hesitant but wrong

I had trouble cutting with my old blade. I didn't think it was that long and doubted the blade was the problem. I figured it was the voltage, not the bearing. After trying everything I gave up and bought this set of knives. Attach a medium-sized blade (1/4 inch) and tighten the tension. Bang what's the difference! - It was a bad (stupid) blade problem. So far I've only used one blade, but no problems. Pretty good value for money. in a pack of 3. I also noticed that the price has gone down since

Pros
  • Resistant to heat build-up for longer life
Cons
  • Wrinkled

thought these blades felt like "toy " blades

Upon opening the box, I was a bit disappointed with the thickness and design of the blades. The blades were like giant saw blades. Stamped thin metal to bend the teeth in different directions to make notches. I installed a 3/8" blade on my saw and replaced the thicker, stronger original blade. The saw blade cuts through thinner materials (insert 1/4" Luan plywood here) with ease and draws a good line. I've used it to cut 3/4" and 1" thick pine boards, it did relatively well too works; it had…
