The best controls?

After looking for a good controller for PC/MiSTer, I finally got this one! I initially chose the wireless route out of convenience and after many connection problems and missed or repeated logins (even with other 8bitdo controllers) I gave up and bought this one. Like all other 8bitdo products, this one is made of thick, heavy plastic and feels good in the hand. The D-Pad looks the same as the new SNES D-Pad and the buttons have a nice click. 5 stars, I would love to go again.

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

Great price great build quality but one downside :(

I love these controllers! They're not too expensive. I got four of these for a couch gaming party and they worked great , when I plugged it into my PC! But when I tried to use it on a friend's Switch, I noticed an anomaly; it was really distracting :( I think that's why the list only has PC in the title mentioned, maybe because of the weird USB configuration as wireless versions of this controller work fine on the switch.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Best of its kind for PC

This is a great controller - possibly the best aftermarket. It has the best quality of the d-pad, buttons and joysticks, as well as excellent build quality. This is a hardwired controller so keep that in mind. Works well with Android box emulator, Raspberry Pi or PC games. Possible downside: It's not as convenient as the similar 8bitdo SN30 Pro+, which supports Bluetooth but is also said to work in wired mode. But I like the SN30 USB for its vintage style and the feeling that I'm mostly playing

Best PC Controller

This is the best PC controller I have ever had and I have used Xbox 360 and PS4 controllers. I love the style of the SNES and it's comfortable even for long gaming sessions. The BAYX button labels are in SNES order, which differs from Xbox-style ABXY, which is a bit confusing, but that's not the controllers' fault. The joysticks work great and it's so cool they made the controller as compact as a SNES controller but with full touch joysticks the best dpad I've ever used (my main complaint isโ€ฆ

Good value for money with great style

8BitDo's reputation in the controller market is well known and very positive. My experience confirms this. Great style, comfortable SNES-style controllers with much-needed modern features. I've used the controllers for a variety of playstyles and haven't had a single issue with them. I love how they feel and handle and they definitely have a form factor that I appreciate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in the retro gaming community for use with RetroPie, and even modernโ€ฆ
