🐠 GKM24W Internal UV Aquarium Filter for Tanks up to 120 Gallons, Black Review

Love it, works like a charm, cleaned my fish tank in two days, crystal clear water on the third day. Yes I would recommend to anyone who has green water that holds crystal clear water.

1st photo 3 days after crazy algal bloom. The second photo is 3 full days after installing a new UV filter. I ordered 55 gallons and the GMK 24w, couldn't be happier to now set it on a daily timer after running it 3 days straight to get rid of algae blooms.

Was on the tank less than a month. Keep trying to contact these scammers for a replacement or refund and are unable to get in touch with anyone. Don't waste your money, they only allow returns if it breaks within the first thirty days despite the advertised one-year warranty.

Rated lamp life of 6 months had nothing to do with my device worked great for 4 days of continuous use now dead on day 5 total disappointment for something like that costs almost $100. I don't recommend it if you don't like gambling when you get a longer lasting lamp. Also as a side note, the unit was connected to my voltage regulator to protect it from electrical fluctuations.

This UV filter made my pea colored aquarium water crystal clear in just three days! It works, so buy it! UPDATE: UV lamp failed after 5 days! Sent it back to Revain and asked for a replacement. Disappointed, it worked so well until it stopped working. Hopefully the replacement will last longer. UPDATE: The replacement block works fine. That thing really makes the water crystal clear. Rating changed to 5 stars.

I have purchased three Green Killing Machines. One of them is my 72 gallon tank, I had an algal bloom problem, it went away within a few days. The other two I put in my 220 gallon tank were fine, but after running the machines for about a week the fish were much cleaner and more pleasing to look at. These things don't come cheap, but after investing a lot of money into customization, why not make the tank as good as possible to be worth the money?

I really wanted something outside the pool so as not to take up valuable space. I was also reluctant to complicate my installation with a built-in system, so I gave the CKM24W a try. It was a good balance of cost, simplicity, and promised results. The attached photos (days 1 to 4, spaced 24 hours apart) show how quickly this cleared my water. A family member gave me one of these many years ago and I never used it until a few months ago when I found algae everywhere in my 125 gallon freshwater aquarium.
