Faulty Valve Ruins Experiment

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was excited to use this degassing chamber for a crucial experiment. Unfortunately, the faulty valve resulted in air leaking, causing inaccurate results. The chamber itself seemed sturdy and well-constructed, but the faulty valve rendered it unusable.

EDIT – (YES YOU CAN GET THE MAX VACUUM) Pump cannot go above 20 hg

YOU MUST BUY OIL FOR YOUR PUMP! As shown below, I couldn't get a full vacuum right out of the box. After filling the pump with oil I used https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000X1E59S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - changed to 4 stars. TO HAVE OIL I need 27 hg for the extraction and no matter what I try I can't get it above 20 hg? According to research, this pump is only rated for 20 hp. If you're trying to remove gas from oil or wax, you'll need a different pump. At the same time,

I WILL NEVER BUY A FLAMING AGAIN - DO NOT BUY!

I almost never leave a bad review on anything but - after spending almost 150.00 - on ABLAZE - I have to. Received the camera and pump, no instructions at all. What oil to put in the pump? Black piece with filter - what to do with it? No Instructions---Very disappointed, I've never used a vacuum chamber or pump before so I have no idea how to set it up. and they wanted my mobile number or email address so they can get back to me, very suspicious!
