These spring benders really do the job and are of good quality. Used to bend an HVAC duct installed in the wall through the studs and the benders made it really easy and my pipes didn't kink.

My kit included a blow mold case that keeps the tools in place. I'm a master mechanic and plumber who restores European cars. I was surprised by the quality of the cutter for the price. The flare tool is accurate and easy to use. I would like to do a review of the bender but it was either hidden or not in my kit. Overall this is a great tool for the price, there are inferior tools for big bucks everywhere. You can't go wrong with this tool.

Rubbish! I've used this tool on both steel and aluminum, the kit also says it's good on copper. I wouldn't bet on that. The rod is difficult to tighten - the wing nuts should be knurled to accommodate the rod on the yoke and make tightening easier. I tried it twice on steel, twice on aluminum. The tube just slides through the torch, so the first step cannot be completed. The reset allows the flare but not the double flare that I want. I bought this set because it was made in Taiwan, not China…

I do a lot of auto mechanics but never do body work or brake lines until I bought this tool. I only needed one brake line for my Blazer, all I could find were complete sets. This is an everyday vehicle, not restored yet, couldn't take the price for a fall kit. Decided to try this kit and the brake line reel. I took a risk in choosing this product despite negative reviews about the quality of the rivets that came with it. I thought these people might not know how to use the tool properly. But I was wrong. This tool is basically a slightly upgraded tool for double flaring harbor cargoes. Except that the studs break off after one or two uses.
