Good quality but too thick

Bought for a new wheelset which I have fitted to my Fj Cruiser I needed a skinny wall socket as the holes are smaller than usual this did not work for me as there is a protective white plastic coating around it to prevent rubbing or scratching the tab holes. Some models like this allow you to remove the cover, but this one proved to be glued and permanent.

Pros
  • Convenient: Use ABN 1/2" Impact Wrench with 19mm socket - scratch resistant color coded laser etched thin wall tread for removing bolts on vehicle wheels as a protective cover prevents damage to non-standard rims and Nuts
Cons
  • Minor issues

Well done. Outer diameter slightly oversized

Looks good. The outside diameter of this rosette is slightly larger than my manual deep socket. I figured that a thin wall would give me a smaller diameter, or at least the same diameter as a regular outlet, but that's not the case. The white plastic protective cover on the outside makes it look larger than a regular outlet and doesn't go well with the recessed bezel I have.

Pros
  • Robust: 6-sided thin-walled Cr-Mo steel head, making the head strong and durable; Will not rust or corrode
Cons
  • Some trouble

If you have deep lugs, your wheels will get scratched.

If the eyelet holes are not too deep, this will do. However, my headlight holes are about 1/4 inch deeper than the plastic cover that is supposed to protect your wheels. The problem is that there is a step where it goes into the metal and the metal sticks out over the plastic and scratches your wheels. It's a great price and I want it to fit my car but I don't want to risk it scratching my new wheels.

Pros
  • Specifications: Thin-walled, scratch-resistant and laser-engraved; 1/2" washer; 19mm; 3-3/8" overall length
Cons
  • Almost OK

is working. but weak metal. cracked

worked for 6 wheel changes before the bead broke when used on a pry bar (not a percussion gun). What was even more frustrating was that when I clicked it flipped the button and I got a decent scratch on the wheel at all, kind of beating the no scratch point. by no means the strongest outlet.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Updates
