As the title suggests this is the perfect replacement blade and seals for our Oster blender. In fact, there are more blades than in the original. I've noticed that the blender speed has slowed down a bit with the new blades - maybe because of more blades? Other than that, however, it works well.

Used a new blade once and it broke in half. Made in China and not a good product. The six-ribbed base doesn't fit as well as the five-bladed original. I had to go and cut off a piece of the black case so the glass would fit snugly on the motor shaft. Luckily there were two cutting knives included in this package. The second is currently in use. I've ordered a different blend for now based on the issues I've had with this product. I will not buy this product and its blender again.

Update:5 does not generally use and work well even when trying to keep it in place. I should have returned it, but it's too late. Most likely you will now have to buy a completely new blender. All parts are placed in a glass jar, but when placed on the base, it doesn't shrink completely. The parts fit well when not fully assembled, so there may be an issue with the threads on the black cap. We can still use the blender, but we have to hold it firmly in place. Purchased for connector pin and spare blade. Bought a pack to have extra spares. The blades were not as heavy as the original Oster brand blades. When I first replaced the signature blade, the worn bolt quickly ripped off the new blade. That's when I discovered the problem was with the bolt, not the blade.
