Very good quality for workshop use

Ideal for in-store use. I don't do precision threads, I just need to be able to measure to determine what I'm cutting. If I were like that, I'd spend a lot more money on a precision meter.

Pros
  • Measures all threads from 3 to 48 TPI and all metric threads in 0.5 mm to 6 mm increments.
Cons
  • No power

Good for the money gauges

I give this 5 stars although the plastic box leaves something to be desired. It's still better than a vinyl pack containing other wires. The processing looks good. I haven't used them yet because I use my Mitutoyo digital thread micrometer for just 1 inch and under. I can write a more detailed review later

Pros
  • reference H.28. Indicates correct dimensions and measurements by wire.
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Very difficult to use when testing, measuring and inspecting

The case seemed like a good idea but the locking mechanism is very poor and will surely break soon. Also, the laminated table, which you will need to help determine which wire to use, is roughly folded and tucked into the ground. As a result, it is impossible to lie down and read. It's just a mess. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The plastic flip case is what you need, not that.

Pros
  • 48 pieces in 16 different sizes for all 60 threads. With thread holder.
Cons
  • Skimpy Instructions
