Cheap, useful, inexpensive.

Well, as long as you don't expect anything more than a basic gauge then they're fine. Do NOT expect Starrett or Mito quality, expect prices too. It will be interesting to see how long they last.

Pros
  • set of 6 pieces; Telescopic Gauge Set 5/16-6"
Cons
  • Not sure

The storage box is of very poor quality.

This product is only as reliable as the tool you use to measure it, let's say the storage box is made of poor PVC and broke before it got to my shop. It will do its intended purpose, but you'll need to craft a new storage box.

Pros
  • Made of stainless steel
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Guilty time

So I'm an idiot. My brother wanted a set of telescopic calipers for his birthday and I thought it would be fun to give him the worst, useless, cheap, crappy set I could find. It turns out I made a very bad choice. They are NOT useless or cheap or trashy. Turns out they're actually pretty damn good. Note that this isn't a Mitutoyo or Starrette class, but they're definitely worth a lot more than the price I paid for them. Well like I said before. I'm an idiot. So I'll keep them to myself. I guess

Pros
  • Smooth and constant spring tension
Cons
  • Expensive
