Refund: Spare parts

the first motor was wrong, the second motor was wrong, the third motor was right but lost, four motors were right but the motor was faulty and returned and waited over a month for a refund before proceeding

Easy to Install - Dope Fan Motors

This worked great with an OEM or compatible resistor attached. It was actually easier to install than the OEM fan which has a few other bulky components. I have 5 minutes to install after watching a DIY video on YouTube.

Easily repaired with a utility knife

Same motor as originally fitted with the same quiet operation. Had the same problem as the others where the plastic strips weren't trimmed enough and made noise when they made contact with the base. Although easy to fix with a office knife.

  • Large and bulky

inferior quality. Noisy!

I bought these to replace the ones in my wife's Trailblazer and am in the process of replacing them. I tried to return it to Revain but they wouldn't let me because it's been over 30 days. A loud clicking noise can be heard during operation, the wheel is too close to the motor housing. I would not buy this product

Repair before use!

AC Delco made in China. Like others who purchased this fan, I had to cut out pieces left over from the fan casting process. If you don't, it will make noise. Note that the label on the box says "Made in the USA". On the label on the part "Made in China". The correct AC Delco part number is not listed anywhere on the part. I don't have time to send it back and try another one. I just hope it lasts.

Better than the OEM motor installed on a new truck

This fan motor was installed on my 03 Trailblazer and is better than the exact same as the original (Delphi) fan motor that was factory installed. . This fan motor has a hard plastic housing that mounts to the bottom, while the original Delphi motor had a crappy piece of plastic attached to the bottom of the motor with this rubber band that connected to the truck's air vent. Replaced the motor as the one in the truck was full of debris (leaves and such) glad I actually caused a new BLOW lots of

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Nothing here

Genuine ACDelco parts available at extra cost. I have a defective fan. After installing it, I noticed that the fan wheel was deformed, stuck to the motor housing and vibrated terribly. Also, the original engine case was metal, while the new one is entirely plastic. One of the blades broke trying to straighten the wheel, so now I'm stuck with an $85 brick. I ended up buying a brand new Dorman engine for a third of the price at my local parts store since the car was disassembled and I didn't want

Quality control is badly lacking

I paid extra for a Delco AC motor because it 'should' be factory quality, right? Not correct. While it looks good enough, I noticed a problem as soon as I took it out of the box. The fan wheel was pressed too hard and the wheel rubbed heavily on the housing. I never put it in my car and requested a replacement from Revain; they sent one right away. The next one had the same problem just not as bad but when I put it in the car and turned it on it made a loud clicking noise. I tried prying the…

Satisfied after eliminating the clicks.

When I first turned on the fan, there was a loud clicking sound. I pulled the fan out and found that the factory couldn't trim/delete the flicker/burst on injection. I could take a utility knife and clean them. The fan works better than the original. Outstanding performance so far. Installed on a 2008 Trailblazer with air conditioning. I got one without air conditioning on my first order, my fault, I didn't realize there were different ones depending on your car's controls, although it says…

Quality control is still missing.

Bought an AC Delco product as the previous one lasted 14 years in my 2004 Trailblazer. Be wary of reviews made in recent years about additional mold on the underside of the fan impeller causing noise. I thought it was already fixed, but NO. The brand new fan came with additional trim and already "clicked" by simply turning the fan wheel by hand. Easy repair by removing the rubber pad and rotating any broken part of the mold to the tube recess to avoid damaging the blades; and carefully trim off
