Best for replacement parts

Perfect for my 2004 Chevy Colorado. The original had a detachable hose. The new one replaces the hose with an integrated molded part. Very good.

  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Some small things

Explosive fans! Original GM parts!

I see I'm not the first. sadness forever. Three (3) catastrophic "Genuine GM Parts" failures this year. Who runs the shop today?

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Ease of maintenance

It works well. I give 4 stars just because I am.

Works well. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I paid about twice as much to get a GM ACDelco part so it was good quality and when I opened the box it had a "Made in China" sticker on it thereon. I'm not happy this isn't an American part. It works as it should.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Great price for a GM factory part.

Easy installation thanks to the flexible ratchet extension. Updated the part and number for a defective 2008 Chevy Colorado fan. Great price for a genuine GM AC Delco factory part. It blows a lot more air than the old factory fan that kept setting the wires on fire. I replaced the wiring harness with a new factory wiring harness that I purchased from Revain.

  • An absolute legend

Garbage ! for heating

Removed the old fan and installed a new one. When I turned it made a loud noise so I immediately turned it off and what happened was the fan fell apart completely. So, now I fish the remains of a new fan out of the fan box. I put the old fan on the new motor, I'll put it in tomorrow, I hope it works, and by the way, it's not an acDelco.

Pros
  • Solid design

2005 Chevy Colorado Z85 4x4 Standard Cab

The fan motor has been running for a week now and works great. This eliminated the factory engine squeak and replaced the rubber hose on the factory engine. You will need a 5.5mm jack, a 1/4" U-joint and various extensions for installation. I also recommend replacing the wiring harness with a new one from GM and cleaning the ground point on the passenger wheel well.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Upgradeable

three screws, one plug. listed.

Straightforward removal and installation. Remove the door seat and bumper side, then pull back the carpet to drop the engine after removing the three screws. You will need a universal joint or flexible shaft on a ratchet to get the rear bolt out. A piece of tape over the screw (mine is 7/32 inch) helps hold it in place to secure it in place. Connect, check motor. did. It works like a charm, nice and smooth

Don't buy a cheap fake!

For a while I wondered if it was worth saving the $20 and using a different brand of fan motor for my 2004 Chevy Colorado, but after getting the Delco AC motor warranty (12,000 miles) after reading it, I decided to do it. The cooling fan, resistor pack and wiring harness on these trucks had chronic problems, but I thought GM had already fixed the problems—and I was right. The blower assembly has been redesigned, as has the suspension, with more waterproof and vibration-resistant parts. The…
