ACDelco D465 Ignition Distributor - Professional Grade Review

I ordered this part from Revain and chose genuine AC Delco parts for my 1998 Chevy Silverado K1500 and after 200 miles the metal part of the main rotor arm broke and left me stuck. After I got the truck home and paid the $50.00 towing bill, I looked under the distributor cap and found that part of the rotor knob was broken. I've never experienced that, especially during the first 200 miles. Very cheaply made AC Delco cover and rotor button. Wouldn't buy again.

I have had problems with these types of secondary covers and rotors. They only last a few months and then I start having misfiring problems. So I will only use AC Delco from now on. However, the rotor I received fell apart. The brass contact strip and the plastic pressure piece were in the box. Strange.
