They're great, but in the heat of battle you'll probably burn yourself trying to put them on because the finger holes are oddly small. I'm below average height, only 5ft 7in, and it's difficult for me to reach her. They are also amazing because they withstand heat well and are very easy to keep clean.

The description says these oven mitts can hold up to 450F, but I bake at 350F and they didn't hold up that temperature. Through the mittens I felt an uncomfortable heat that almost burned me. I had to hurry on my hot pans before they got too hot to keep my mittens on. Useless, don't buy if you're baking.

Great potholders! I was so tired of the cloth pants because I kept burning when moisture got on them. They are great for protecting my hands and don't discolor like my old ones. Washing is also very easy! I also like that they are very long because I'm clumsy and now I'm even better protected. The only reason I give them 4 stars is because you can definitely feel some warmth if you hold them hot a little longer than normal. It doesn't sting, but it's uncomfortable if you're sensitive to heat.

So I had big doubts about the durability of the silicone glove as I have always used a quilting glove. I was dying to test this, so for my old school stoves I seasoned my cast iron.
