Pros - Sound quality Cons - Installation - More speaker wire required These speakers did not come with installation instructions. Although cut sizes are listed on Revain as bullet points under cost, I do wish these speakers came with a tracking template when installed. I use them with a Sony receiver and a Polk Audio subwoofer. The speaker quality is good. I would recommend them.

Installed 5 8 inch speakers for my son in a small playroom. 2 out of 5 speakers distorted and wheezed at all volumes. The sound quality of the working speakers was poor. I threw those speakers away and replaced them with Klipsch in-wall speakers which sound fantastic. I do not recommend these speakers to anyone.

Plasterboard installation machines are a bit cheap. There were three interruptions during the installation. Drywall staples come unthreaded, so getting the screws in can be a little tricky at first. Sounds good! Must be in closets or in the wall for best sound. Add a subwoofer for really great high-fidelity surround sound. Four stars for installation issues only. Otherwise 5 stars for functionality/sound.

Installed in the ceiling for easy cable access. I have an Onkyo 8.2 surround sound system with a powered subwoofer. The speakers are made of composite polycarbonate and look high quality. The plastic case has six clips that hold it in place, but they'll break if you're not careful. I still adjust the audio quality, but bass is produced with 8 8 inch speakers. Good value for money and works well. You can also easily upgrade your speakers later with the brackets.
