Worked well, finished product color is black

Worked well, step by step instructions followed. A 1/4" by 1/4" chip in the granite countertop required at least 12 applications, each with a small amount of light-cure material. The point is to work in small layers to create an even layer, or slightly above the surface layer to keep sanding to a minimum. I used fresh clear tape over the light cure repair each time and if any material was still damp after curing I wiped it off before adding more. A small amount of the product remained damp…

Works like clockwork!

This product is fantastic and great value, an alternative to a $250 service call from a person pulling out the same pack and doing exactly what the HIMG Instructions tell you what to do. I'll be quick to admit that I have experience with epoxy, bondo, and plexiglass repairs from my Air Force days, but it's easy enough for even the greenest of newbies. If you are making "dam" packing tape to fix an edge, you can fold it as the instructions suggest, then run a second piece of tape over your "dam"

Does the job well but requires care and effort

Light Cure Epoxy has the advantage of being easier to work with but requires some care and effort to apply properly. My main criticism of this set is that it seemed impossible to turn on the light without holding it down. I solved this problem with a clip. Read the instructions and watch the video on how to use tape to shape the edges. I used a small cardboard tent holder with a light, positioned it over the area to be cured and secured everything in the optimum spot with a small amount of…
