Good for on the go in Computers & Accessories

Great for my laptop and compact for travel. Save money with Skype versus cell phone or hotel room charges for using the phone.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • disappears

Don't waste your money on it

The volume is not loud enough and the other party cannot hear well even if you speak directly into the phone. Spend more money on what really works.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • There are problems

Works best in networking products

The device works. You must be speaking close to the box (not walking around the room while speaking) for the microphone to pick up your voice. Although this is typical for almost all budget microphones. I like it.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Will write later

Bad product in online products

This product went straight to the trash can. It connects easily but completely overwhelms the sound. When plugged in, it wipes your other audio output, so you'll have to plug and unplug it every time you need it. Maybe good for a laptop bag?

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • May hurt

It works but there are problems.

It definitely works and was easy to set up, but my main issue was that the voice out was very harsh and also difficult to get loud enough to be properly heard over background noise (including quiet). To press). So unless you want to sit in complete silence I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Somehow works with networking products

This device works but the sound quality is very poor. The speaker is not very good and the microphone is very weak. I turned the mic volume all the way up (which they recommend as the default, which tells you something) and I still had issues with the low volume. On the other hand, the device connected and was picked up immediately. I tested it on Skype and everything worked except for volume and audio quality issues.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in white

Nice and simple device

I borrowed this from a friend so I knew what I was getting. I use it for Skype calls but have found that it also works with my computer as a separate microphone. I just plugged it in and placed it on the table next to the keyboard. My XP software found the driver and it worked. People on the other end say it has speakerphone tone, but it's clear. Probably not as clear as good headphones, but so easy and portable. I don't travel much with my computer, but I can see where it would be good to…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Expandable

My new office phone is

I travel a lot for work (self-employed) and use Skype as my business phone number. For me the PERFECT accessory. Nine out of ten times I'm on the phone, I need access to my computer at the same time; Handsfree is what you need. It's tiny (about the size of a thin mouse), very light (you can easily carry it around in your computer bag), and the sound quality is pretty good too. Product (with XP Pro, SP3). If you go through 3-4 plug/unplug cycles, try using the device for sound, it will crash my…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
