Perfect for Kids: Arts & Crafts

This clay is perfect for making 'ceramic' items with kids, no kiln required but finish is matte (not waterproof).

Do not know. for clay

Inaccurate description - this clay is definitely not white. It's grey/brown. Browner than fired clay. Don't buy if you don't plan to mix colors.

Pros
  • Crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Some defects

Dry cracking

I did not receive the same packaging as shown. My clay, although labeled white, did not air dry white. It also cracked on drying on most of my projects. I would not recommend it.

Pros
  • Conforms to ASTM D4236 standards, available in white and terracotta

A GOOD PRODUCT.

This is a great product although for my purposes I usually have to let it dry for a few minutes to get it on the right consistency so that I can use it. It can become brittle after drying, so I recommend applying varnish or a similar product to harden it after drying. The main benefit of this product is that it doesn't shrink as much as other clays I've used if I let it dry naturally.

Pros
  • Ideal choice for intricate patterns, soft and pliable straight out of the box, dries to considerable strength and durability
Cons

I would buy it again

It was a perfect choice for an art project with children aged 2-10. Clay stays soft until exposed to air, making it easier to work with. We used ours for a couple of days and just kept the unused clay in a wet towel bag and had no problem drying it out before using it. Excellent We painted dry clay with acrylic paint and clear coat.

Pros
  • The most durable air drying clay, it is the best choice for jewelry making; great for embossing and stamping
Cons
  • Very expensive
