I had 3, very defective.

DO NOT BUY! I went through 3 of these, they either stopped working or started to fail and make a grinding noise. Why else do they only offer a 30-day return policy? I'm thinking about it.

Discard unless you need a temporary repair

Less than a year old. It jammed periodically and I couldn't lock the door. Then there is a terrible sound when you open the door with the key fob. Everyone will look at you because of the unpleasant noise.

Direct replacement, excellent value for money

***** Upgrade direct replacement below. Overall great value for money and everything works as it should, only wish I had ordered them a long time ago! Update ---- Unfortunately 2 out of 4 door lock actuators have failed. It sounds like a goose in trouble when the unlock button is pressed. Don't recommend, waste your extra money and get OEM Ford Ford parts.
