This product killed my 7 year old cat in 10 minutes

Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake and don't give your cat this poison. Ten minutes after getting out of the bath, she became very disoriented and had trouble breathing. She then fell into respiratory depression and then shortly after cardiac arrest. I gave her CPR for 20 minutes and she just disappeared. It was the worst thing I've ever been through and I hope no one else has to go through what I've just gone through. Now my whole family is absolutely devastated!

MODIFIED AND NO LONGER WORKING

This product has been MODIFIED and NO LONGER WORKING. I still have part of the old bottle for comparison. I washed my dog with this product TWICE in the same day and still saw fleas. This NEVER happened with the old product - it killed and kept killing everything. It also didn't kill the larvae. They still hatched on my dog who has a black coat so they were easy to see. I've been using ADAM'S Plus Flea & Tick Shampoo for 27 years. I am so overwhelmed and disappointed with this change in…

I was very skeptical about A. It's simple.

I was very skeptical about this A. It's just shampoo B. Most reviews mention fleas not ticks. My dog was FULL of ticks. I mean at least 15-20 that I could see. I must warn you that you should keep your dog OUTSIDE for 24-48 hours after using this shampoo. Not me. In fact, I came home and saw a lot of dead mites in my living room. Dead mites everywhere. I counted at least 10 little ones. and big. Oh God. my dog found them before me and tore them up. leave blood everywhere. This day will forever…

This poison killed my kitten

We had a beautiful fire point kitten who came to the rescue covered in seed mites. I got scared and googled what to use to kill ticks. He was 12 weeks old and Adams recommended and that was the age listed on the bottle. We washed him to kill the mites and from that day on he didn't feel well and we thought he had cat flu but after a week and a half he started feeling really sick and started throwing up. We took him for a blood test and his kidneys completely failed. We tried to save him and he…

Do Not Buy - Toxic to Cats

Contains pyrethrin and pyrethroids, which are considered by many veterinarians to be toxic to cats; These ingredients should NOT be used to control fleas. I couldn't find the ingredients before purchasing, but when I received the bottle I found that it contained those ingredients. There are safer alternatives that actually work. Use Vet's Best that works. I have used many different products and this was the system that finally did the trick. Bathe your cat, then use Vet's Best Cat Safe Spray…

Read the label! Warning Poison

I'm glad I read the label before using it, it's poison, I wouldn't do it to my pet. I wish this product didn't exist, a blatant disregard for life and the environment masquerading as safety and capitalizing on the laziness of the general public. Dress. Immediately flush skin with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. • Keep eyes open for 15-20 minutes. Rinse eyes slowly and thoroughly with water. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing the eyes. Take the

This + Flea Remedy = GOD

Last year my cats got fleas. I've tried everything from boric acid to diatomaceous earth, from flea collars and cheap flea candies to washing in dish soap every few days at dawn and vacuuming 2-3 times a day and NOTHING has worked. A friend of mine recommended this shampoo to me and at that point one of my cats developed a severe allergic reaction to fleas and all I could do was cry because I couldn't help him. He honestly looked like he'd been thrown in a dog pit. When my friend told me about…

Helped soothe irritated skin on my cat and dog

I've been battling a horrible flea infestation for over a month now. I bathe my cat and dog every other day using Dawn dish soap and their regular shampoos (choice for my dog and Furminator for my cat) and even take them to the groomer for flea baths. I've used topical medications on each of them (Frontline for my dog and Advantage II for my cat). I've been vacuuming, mopping, spraying insecticide and IGR and washing everything almost daily, but it seems like I'm fighting a losing battle. No…
