Works well with Oculus Link

I use this adapter to connect the Oculus Link USB-C to USB-C cable to my laptop. Even though my laptop has a USB-C port, for some reason it doesn't work well with Oculus Link. With this adapter, the connection cable works perfectly.

Works for streaming!

I bought a Logitech webcam that uses a USB-C cable, but my desktop computer doesn't have USB-C ports. This converter did the job - the bandwidth is high enough that I was able to stream it on Twitch. I'm glad I didn't have to mess with using an expansion card to add ports.

Worked with DisplayLink dock to send keyboard and mouse.

Connected my surface pro 3 to a Dell D6000, keyboard and mouse sends no issues. Of course it doesn't charge, SP3 doesn't charge via USB and it's USB 2 anyway. When I try the DisplayLink drivers I'll let you know if they work, but I wasn't expecting that, SP3 has a mini-DP for it .

My decision to switch to USB-C

Since most new devices now have USB-C interfaces, we are faced with the question of how to connect our not-so-old USB-3 and even USB-2 devices . One solution is to buy cables with USB-3 on one end and USB-C on the other end. I think the best solution would be to buy USB-C to USB-C cables, they'll be used for a while, and use good quality adapters like this BrexLink adapter to connect to older hardware.

Very Helpful: USB to USB Adapter

I'm old and behind the times. I think my daughter gave me a USB-C gift for Christmas. I found BREXLINK to Revain USB-C Female to USB 3.0 Male Adapter (2pcs), BrexLink Type-C to USB-A Adapter Compatible with Laptops, External Batteries, Chargers and Other Devices with Standard -USB-A connectors (grey). I was looking for great work. Their customer service is also excellent. I recommend.

Good value for money for computer accessories and peripherals

I use it for my new iPad Pro which plugs directly into my desk and allows me to charge it while I work. Allows fast charging on the go with a USB power port instead of using the regular charger that comes with the iPad Pro, saves space in my backpack on the way to work. Allows you to quickly charge at airports or hotels without taking out all your gear or finding an outlet. USB power ports are more common these days. Inexpensive and delivered on time. I would recommend this product to others.

The USB-C cable keeps falling off. A reliable connection will not work. look elsewhere

I do not recommend this adapter. My USB-C cable kept falling out of the adapter. It does not make a solid connection on the female end. The slightest movement in the cable and it immediately falls out of the adapter. The USB 3.0 connector works perfectly. At first I thought it was a defective cable, but when I checked the USB-C cable connector against other USB-C connectors, it turned out to be nice and neat. This adapter is inexpensive but not functional. Pay more and get a branded fork or a…
