Feels secure with networking products

Just received this product to try and get a stage display for my Asus X556U laptop. Unfortunately I got an error message saying this product is not supported for use as a display and I checked the post to find drivers to download or something that might fix this. It's a real shame because it feels like a really solid product made from real metal body, even with a quality lanyard for it that I'm sure could take some abuse. I will be returning it shortly as it doesn't work for me but I can say…

It's hard to say if this will work for you.

I tried it on 3 different computers with different results. My work computer: HP Elitebook 840 g3 - Unknown USB device. MSI GS65 Stealth Thin - Immediately made a noise and restarted the computer. 2017 Mac Book Pro 13" - Works added 1 additional workspace. The other HDMI output was a duplicate of the first. Make sure to check the USB-C label on the side of your computer if it's a Lightning bolt or plug icon is , DO NOT plug this device in. MSI had a lightning bolt icon, it's for the charging…

Works, picture quality is excellent.

I bought this gadget to make dual screen work from home a reality with my Lenovo Yoga X1. Since I don't use a UHD screen at home, USB C is enough to drive an old HP w2207 22" flat screen and a Samsung SyncMaster T24B350 24" TV/monitor. The only problem I've had with this adapter is that sometimes, but not often, the signal to one of my two monitors doesn't work when I first connect the device to my laptop. The simple fix is to unplug the HDMI cable from the end of the adapter for the device…

Works on Huawei Matebook X Pro where many dual display adapters fail!

I am pleased with the durability and ease of use of this small dual HDMI adapter. The Huawei Matebook X Pro that I just bought and love has two USB-C ports, one of which is Thunderbolt 3. The computer is picky about which Thunderbolt docks it works with for dual displays with HDMI. This little adapter works seamlessly on BOTH PORTS as it uses the DisplayPort Alternate Mode standard to do its job. Much more versatile than an adapter that would grab my lone Thunderbolt 3 port. This multiple monitor adapter keeps changing monitor assignments and does not allow you to use a third monitor

I have a Dell laptop with USB-C and HDMI. When I try to connect 3 monitors to my laptop (2 connected to the USB-C connection via this adapter and 1 monitor connected to the built-in HDMI connection), only 2 monitors can be displayed - problem #1. When I do it don't connect a third monitor to the onboard HDMI port, the monitor assignments change every time the laptop turns off and the splash screen appears. In other words, if I leave the laptop for a while while the system goes into screen saver

Good USB-C hub

Decent quality USB-C hub. I got two similar splitters from the same company, this one was a dual HDMI splitter (the other one was HDMI/VGA) and they both worked right away. I've used it for a couple of briefings and hooked it up to two external monitors at home and got good results at a reasonable price. This item does what it's advertised to do so no real complaints and I would recommend it to colleagues if they need something similar. I've only had two issues, which are in no way stoppers…
