I made this to connect my new player to an AV receiver that was too far from the player so I needed a way to run a longer cable between to embarrass the two. This plug seems and feels good and works with no issues, I would recommend it.

I would not recommend these adapters. They are cheap. When I first plugged it into the subwoofer input, the tip broke off and got stuck in the subwoofer and I can't get it out. So buying this cheap product will either permanently destroy my subwoofer or cost me a lot of money to fix it.

I bought an Alesis compressor/limiter a long time ago and the only connections on the unit were all 1/4" jacks. I bought 1/4 RCA cables to solve the connection problem to disconnect, but those wires weren't gold plated. Over the years I've had a channel fail every now and then and I've had to figure out which connector is failing to make contact. SAVE THIS PRODUCT. The shape of the end connector fits so snugly into the socket that it is extremely difficult to pull out. The photo shows what happens when you try to pull it out. The jacket is glued to the pole. Completely removed when pulled out. I had to use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the rod, which still sucks up my $1000 hardware. The problem is that the ferrule has less pitch compared to a higher quality connecting rod and therefore snaps into the connector. with little recoil…
