You get what you pay for

I should have bought a better adapter cable, you can't actually read codes from the 20 pin data link port with this one, at least not on hardware ms41.1 passenger cars . I had to completely re-solder this adapter to include the correct connections needed to communicate with the car over a 20 pin data link connection. This adapter cable will suffice if you are a hobbyist looking for a cheap starting point to make your own adapter cable. The construction is obviously cheap and hastily made, but…
