This is easy to use and the perfect size for what I wanted which is the lining on the back of the frame to which the kraft paper backing is glued. However, kraft paper continues to rise despite the pressure. I'll try other tricks to get it sticking (taping both surfaces with tape and then gluing them together? Dampening the kraft paper after gluing?) but so far I'm not impressed.

Pretty good stuff. It's easy. You will need a utility knife to peel off the other side. But it sticks once strong. I used it for paper on plastic. Holds pretty tight. There is also a significant amount of tape on the roll. (I bought a competitor from China for a fraction of the cost. I ended up with part of the tape.) Definitely worth it in terms of quality and quantity.

I haven't actually used this yet, but I checked a bit on some packaging. The initial attempt to separate the two sides wasn't impressive BUT after buffing the same piece of tape a second attempt resulted in both sides being torn. This is what I look for in double sided tape for paper crafts. It should be a bit forgiving at first, but stick enough that the pages can't be pulled apart without breaking them. I would give it 5 stars but can't do it in good faith until I use it more than once. Ask…

I recently bought this tape to tape vintage car ads in magazines to keep them afloat. I bought it because it was claimed to be ARCHIVE FREE and ACID FREE. Everything looked great at first, but three months later I'm sitting at my desk and I look up to see the tape is messing up my prints! Now they are permanently attached to the mats thanks to the excellent permanent adhesive on the prints, and now they are permanently screwed and DESTROYED; I paid over $60 for these prints only to be spoiled…

I used this tape to secure a 110 lb cardboard box wrapped around the edge of a particle board. I don't know why, but it's very contradictory in attitude. I can glue as needed, sand it down with a bone folder and it looks smooth and well stapled. However, when the project was abandoned for a while (overnight), the deck of cards came loose from the chipboard. This photo shows it partially lifted, but I also had areas where the cardboard was peeling all the way down where the tape wasn't sticking.
