So this hot glue gun is pretty easy to use. There are two modes: hot and weak. This is normal value for money. I say this because the glue gun needs time to warm up. Hot tuning can be used by pushing up the switch on the side of the gun. And the low heat setting can be used by pressing the switch down. This glue gun is terrible! I only gave one star because zero is not an option. I just took it out to work on Christmas projects for the first time and it claims the cord is detachable. It doesn't, and apparently my return window ended 2 days ago. I had the same and it was removable. The one they sent me is not the one. I've just tested the gun for the first time after watching a few youtube videos. It takes a lot of pressure to separate the legs of the stand enough to fit the holes on either side of the gun, but it's possible. I like this glue gun; There are not many other models with two temperatures and a thin nozzle. I use hot glue extensively on my projects and it is very reliable and easy to use. However, if you use it for more than two hours in a row, leave it on low heat or leave it unplugged for about ten minutes; This will prevent it from overheating and burning the plastic inside. Overall, this offers excellent value for money and is safer and more convenient than two separate low and high temperature guns.
