🐇 Timothy Pellet (4.5) - Free Choice Adult Rabbit Food Review

My rabbit won't eat it at all. She avoids him in her cage and he's been there for weeks. I've tried mixing it with other things to get her used to it, but I literally don't want to eat a single piece. Maybe I just have a picky muffin. I am not sure. But it smells strange compared to other rabbit pellets.

My rabbits like them. I have small (less than 4 pounds each) buns, about a tablespoon of these pellets a day, and they always have access to fresh timothy hay, as do all adult rabbits. Please note that pellets should not be given in unlimited quantities to adult rabbits. Instead, they should be used to supplement freely available timothy hay.

I got this when my rabbit kept getting gastrointestinal stuffiness no matter what I did then I started reading their old pellet ingredients and then it dawned on me that maybe that is the culprit . After reading the reviews of this Sherwood meal I decided to give it a try. My rabbit is happier and healthier, this is definitely the best food for him. I started shopping at Sherwood when the product was in a clear plastic bag and arrived in a box with a fixed price. My Holland Lop will soon be celebrating its 11th birthday. He loves Sherwood pellets - he knows how pellets come out of the bag and sits by his food bowl - and even goes back into the cage if he's not home when I fill his plate. He never had digestive problems. Sometimes he acts like the cranky old man he is!
