Required to remove the windshield.

First windshield replacement and used that as part of the replacement. You need to watch videos on the internet to find the methods.

Pros
  • Tools and Equipment
Cons
  • Can't remember but something was

The tool works well but the blade is frayed!

We used this tool to remove a cracked windshield from a Jeep Wrangler. The blade was badly damaged but successfully cut through a large amount of dried urethane. If you plan on using it multiple times, I would suggest buying a spare blade for each use.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Negative impression

Nothing for the inexperienced.

This tool is probably best used in experienced hands. It appears to be well built, the knife is strong and hasn't bent despite having experienced a lot of bullying, but it is NOT comfortable to use. Not at all. It is very difficult to get it in the right position to be effective. For amateurs I would recommend looking into piano wire or fishing line methods. As a pro, you probably already know where to get good knives, soooo.

  • Windshield & Glass Repair Tools
Cons
  • Nothing Here
