Fits car remotes

I bought it to find out what frequency my car remote control is on. This item is perfect for that purpose. No frills, weird battery configuration but works great.

I'm not sure if this thing works at all.

I first bought this item to test the remote control that controls my sorting system. So far none of the 5 different remote controls have tried to display the frequency on this fineness. Very disappointing.

Works well but as a test device not as good as the WOYO tester. (I have no financial interest in any of the devices)

This test kit works well and is good value. It is not as beautiful as WOYO remote control tester. This unit does not have a power switch and a 9 volt battery dangles from the unit on an adapter cord. If the case were a little bigger, the battery could be internal and a power button could also be provided. If you want a good test kit, buy a WOYO device (I did after buying it). If you just want a bump tester for the least amount of money, buy this one.

A fully charged battery is required for operation.

Tester works and reads 315MHz (as 315.5) and 390MHz (as 390.5) correctly. I have two issues with the product: First, when I tried it with a battery that my battery tester said was weak but still good, the device turned on and worked for just a few seconds before stopping completely. Then I tried it with a fresh battery and it actually worked as advertised. Second, the device comes with absolutely no instructions. I had to use the instructions listed in the Revain description to figure out where
