Great for oils and fluids

I used to use graphite and my old tube that was about 20 years old eventually stopped working. I needed a new one and I have trusted this brand since I have bought other products from them. This worked very well on the outside lock where it was very difficult to get the key in the lock.

  • Slim design
Cons
  • Legacy model

A little dirty but your lock will work like new!

Works great on my strands! I bought it because my lock was stuck and the key was difficult to get in and out of the lock. I put the graphite on my key, put it in, and chuckled several times with the key to lock it, and wa-la! My lock is smooth and slippery!

Effective but unfamiliar

I liked how effective the graphite is at the end. The screw is now smooth as butter. Note. From a usability perspective, it's hard to tell what's going on, I had to compress it several times. The tube feels quite airy - I didn't like that the first few light squeezes didn't produce graphite and it's hard to see how much is going into the lock.

Empty Tube Lubricant Good

I keep this stuff on me for the rare occasions when I need it for locks etc so it's not uncommon to still have it in the box months later after purchase. I opened it this morning and couldn't get anything out. I thought maybe it was baked inside so I cut off the end of the tube. NO, absolutely intact, empty tube. Since it's been a few months since I bought it, I can't get my money back. Stay away from this product.

Superfine Graphite Lubricant

I have no problem with this powder lube when used in closed systems. I bought it to lubricate the rack fan motor shaft because of the smoothness, but it is dirty and will not stick to the steel shaft. I'm not going to give a bad review, but I'm giving myself a bad review because I think the dry powder would stick to the steel shank. To properly lubricate the shaft I use liquid graphite and if that doesn't solve my problem I'll have to replace the fan shaft bushings as they don't have bearings.

Suitable for lubricating door locks

Firstly, this product is incorrectly listed on the Revain website. It's not a "bottle" or "1.76" ounce. It's 0.21 ounces (6 g). This is a very "small" amount, so if you need a lot of graphite grease, you should choose another product. The picture is correct. This is a tube. There isn't much liquid in the tube, so squeeze it gently to avoid losing the graphite powder too much. When used correctly, this works great on door locks. If I were to buy again I would probably buy a bottle shaped…

Works on a stuck lock.

Cheaper than a call to a locksmith. Used this on a lock that got stuck and wouldn't turn. A few jets of fine powder into the lock and onto the key solved the problem. Put the key in the lock a few times and it should turn. It is graphite based so it will stick to any surface including clothing and people. So be careful when using it. Be sure to thoroughly wipe off any powder that gets on your skin. The tip of the tube is wider than the keyhole, allowing some of them to get onto the lock…
