See we know some tall people (300 pounds at least). These people can easily sit on this bench. The little pantry is perfect for our DnD stash and our shoes are finally in order. We live in a tiny house and this bench allows you to organize many things while remaining discreet. Highly recommended.

My wife has wanted a shoe bench for a long time. I chose this one because it's not big. Small enough not to get in the way but room for 4 pairs of shoes and 1 pair of boots. The storage space under the seat is easily accessible, although we don't use it. The cushion fits well on the countertop. Took me about 20-30 minutes to assemble including gathering tools and glue (I glued the joints but it's not necessary). Recommend.

The reason I get 5 stars is simple: compact, feels sturdy (I weigh 190 pounds), hidden storage, comfy pillow and stylish exterior . Areas for improvement: Add screw covers, finish and sanding is inadequate, warehouse floor material is faux chipboard, and add support legs under the center of the bench. I was looking at a similar product which I liked visually and it was a solid wood which I would have preferred. But it was much shorter and the shelf height was too low for anything but very flat shoes. This one isn't quite as pretty, but it still looks attractive enough, and while it's not solid wood, it feels sturdy.
