Reflective nylon saved us!

We used this nylon cord to hang a bear canister and thank god we did! We got back to our camp after dark and went in the wrong direction to get our canister. The reflective cord saved us!

Good quality for paracord

fit in daylight, shined a flashlight on it and was disappointed, I thought it would glow during the day too. but. when it was dark I was happy about him. It doesn't glow by itself in the dark, in fact (if I remember correctly) it ONLY glows when hit by a headlamp or flashlight (not the whole rope, just the reflectors on it). I would of course buy it again.

  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • Doesn't all

Ideal for tent lines

The cord is highly visible day and night when hit by light, just what I need for my tent so I can see my lines. This cable is thinner than 550 paracord so at first I was wondering how well it would work with the adjusters I bought for paracord. No problem, the cord is a bit stiffer than paracord and works really well with adjusters, I'll probably buy more to have on hand.

It works well with paracord

I bought this to replace the original Inviso 9000 invisible black guy lines on my tent. This works well and is relatively bright when reflecting your flashlight at night. I've stumbled across them far less than the original hardware, so it's a win. It was strong enough for me to trip over, so this is another win. I think it's a little overpriced, but it serves it's purpose. I certainly didn't need large amounts so can't complain too much. All in all, I'm glad I got it. This should be standard…

Great guy, best at hunting and fishing

I always install an 8x10 silicone tarp as a makeshift porch at the family home. In the past I've used paracord or similar lines for guy lines and other rigging, and in previous years I hung glowsticks or colored ribbon to prevent others from tripping over them at dusk or in the light of a headlamp. This year I decided to try some of it. Hi-Vis stuff and it worked great. Not only was it very visible in low light, it held up the aluminum tensioners I used very well. Overall a great product at a…

Super Reflective. Lights up like a Christmas tree!

I replaced the guy lines from the tent with this cord. The nights of tripping over tent poles after tripping over watering God's green earth in the middle of the night are over! I find it odd that the cord doesn't reflect the light with a flashlight held about waist-high, but use a headlamp or bring one. Head-height flashlight and this cord lights up like a DFW airport at night. I'm not sure why that is, but I can tell you it definitely is. I can only comment on the durability in the next ten…

Useful camping lanyard for paracord

I used this cord cut to ten inches to make a small loop on my tent pegs, both for ease of donning and to reduce the risk of tripping when using reflective material to reduce . Night. For this purpose it works very well. The quality is excellent and the price seems reasonable to me. Although I haven't used it for extra cords on the sides of the tent I think it will work for that purpose. Another thought I had about reflective properties is a short piece tied to something that might be dangerous…

Pros
  • paracord
Cons
  • for many things

I recently completed the Long Trail in Vermont, covered over 275 miles and climbed many heights in 19 days. I cut a few lengths of this cord for extra guy lines on my tent and used the rest to hang a bear bag (groceries, toiletries, full cooking set) almost every night. The cord ran smoothly, was flexible enough for tent cord to easily cut into, and had excellent reflectivity. I would definitely look for this particular product if I need more lanyards for lanyards, hanging bear bags, or any…

Used it to tie heavy shelters

I used this string to tie a sukkah. I attached it to two legs of a 10ft x 10ft metal tube, 8ft high, and wrapped it in Shade fabric for the walls and bamboo slats for the roof. In years past, strong winds have lifted this structure and blown it high enough to catch the telephone line that runs from the pole to my house. This year I used screw anchors in the yard and Aidier Reflective Nylon Tent Guyline. The structure didn't move for 8 days while I had it. My only problem was that I had…
