Wow! I've wanted this set for a long time and finally bought it. I wanted metal, not plastic, something that wouldn't break. They last for YEARS - they're pretty sharp and feel good in your hand, and most importantly - they shred meat fast. I give this 5 stars for the quality.

Good meat claws. I doubt that wood is the most hygienic material for handles. Besides wood, they are easy to clean. They feel durable and I like that they are flat and easy to clean and keep clean. Ergonomically they are fine. Some finger grooves on the wooden part of the handle help with dexterity. It would be nice to get a cloth bag to store it. I can try to keep them in the box they came in. I believe it will be much better than using the forks I used.

I used to avoid recipes that said "cut meat with two forks". INDEED? No, just no. You can't do it on a flat surface without the meat moving around you, and doing it in a bowl isn't very efficient either, especially if you have a lot of meat to chop.
