Great find in the toy department

Stable. Gigantic. Revine the parrot likes this. I love it. So glad I bought it. Of course, you should always keep them in mind when using a rope-based toy. I was opening our parasol to find a sparrow hanging upside down with its foot tangled in thread. He broke his leg trying to free himself and then started bleeding internally from swinging :(Unfortunately I couldn't save him. So I monitor very closely everything that can happen to my bird as a result.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

Convenient replacement for concrete and wood perches

This 1" and 1/8" coil rope makes napping more fun than stationary perches. (imagine a bird perched on a branch, swaying in the wind). Makes me think, my Alexandrine, Neon. He uses it to clean his beak and mark his territory, useful occupations for a parrot. Be sure to regularly trim any broken threads your bird leaves behind so your fingers don't get caught on them!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

My girlfriend received it same day. I'm glad I ordered a large after reading another customer review about the length. You're right, it's far from unwound 94 inches long (not even close), but the rope is very good and thick. This is actually a good length to hang from the side of the cage as it already has 3 perches inside the cage. She loves to crawl up, down and through, sit on and play with toys.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Very expensive

What I expected from Birds

This is just great and cheaper than anything I've bought in the past. I've been buying these bungee cords for my B&G Macaw and Revain for 18 years now. They won't last forever, birds gnaw and destroy. After reading some negatives and a lower price than what I'm used to, I hesitated to order. They are just as good as the more expensive ones. They won't last a year as my parrots are only free in the cage at night but there is no difference between these and the more expensive ones. They should be

Good price but not as wide as I would like

Bought for my Quaker parrot, never had a coiled rope so thought I'd give it a try. The price didn't seem bad either. The first impression after unboxing was: wow, it's small, but I opened it wider and it turned out a bit bigger than I expected. I'm a bit disappointed with how wide the rope is, it's softer than other ropes he has. The wire/innards should be thinner but seems to be holding onto it well. My only concern is that he might rip it off quicker than usual because he loves to chew, time…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Easy to repair

Ideal for macaws or other large birds!

My bird has free access to my house and has a nice two tier perch base to roam around on. I was moving into a new house and figured that custom made perches would suffice, but she seemed unhappy and didn't want to explore or climb her new perch. I could see that she wasn't happy with her new digs and that she missed her old cage. I bought this simple spiral of rope and hung it so that it could easily slide down from the top perch. Well, not only did she use it to move between the perches, but…
